The Schönmoosalm stands for traditional delicacies and culinary highlights - in winter indoors in a cosy atmosphere by the open fireplace. In summer on the large sun terrace with great views and children's playground directly below.

The Schönmoos Alm is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park in bend 7, halfway between the My Alpenwelt Resort and the world-famous Krimml Waterfalls. Motorcyclists, car drivers, bikers - everyone who enjoys good food in a relaxed atmosphere stops here. There are plenty of parking spaces on the opposite side of the road.

HUT-FONDUE

The tatar-hat is a type of the well-known fondue, a boullion is filled into the lower part of the hat, the food can then be hung on the steel tips to cook and a convivial feast can begin!

ORIGINAL SWISS RACLETTE

A piece of Switzerland on your plate! Experience the incomparable flavour of original Swiss raclette, with melted cheese spread directly onto the bread! Served with pan-fried potatoes, farmhouse bread, pickled vegetables and delicious onion marmalade.
You can enjoy the raclette in our Schönmoos Alm directly on the Gerlospass Alpine Road in a cosy and rustic atmosphere.

SUMMER FEELINGS

The perfect place to stop for refreshments after an exciting ride between the most beautiful bends and hairpin bends of the Gerlos Pass - perfect for all motorbike riders and classic car enthusiasts.

Cyclists can recharge their batteries and families are also in good hands here! While the adults relax on our large sun terrace, the children can let off steam in the playground under the Schönmoos Alm. A hearty roast pork, a cold beer and traditional Kaiserschmarren will make your taste buds beat faster!
